Misconceptions about science

Although it doesn’t bear directly on the questions of logic and psychology that interest me, I was interested to see this lecture about where science education goes wrong, for its examples of how preconceptions reinforce themselves by shaping how we interpret evidence. I also liked the quote from Cardinal Wolsey:

“Be very, very careful what you put into that head, because you will never, ever get it out.”
